What You'll Do... As a Recruiter with American Pest, you'll be responsible for supplying a continuous pipeline of strong candidates across currently open and future positions throughout the company. You'll work with the hiring team to review current and future needs to ensure candidates meet the needs of the various branches/departments. Chiefly, you'll review applicants within the ATS, screen potential candidates, answer questions about the role & company, coordinate in-person interviews with hiring managers, and follows-up after interviews are complete. You'll build relationships with selected candidates as you move them through our hiring process by delivering offers, beginning background and drug screen procedures, and keeping in touch to answer any questions or concerns prior to their first day.

Who You Are... So, what does it take to be a successful as a Recruiter with American Pest? For starters, you'll have at least 2 years of full cycle recruitment experience, ideally in pest control or other field service based industry -or- equivalent experience within pest control. You'll also have...

  • Experience working within an applicant tracking system (ATS) – ApplicantPro preferred
  • Firm understanding behavioral interviewing
  • Experience with passive candidate sourcing
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and HRIS (Workday experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in creating and delivering presentations to all levels of an organization
  • The ability to travel as necessary
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize competing responsibilities according to urgency and importance
  • Well-developed organization and time management skills
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • A high-school diploma
