If you're an experience accounting professional with a background in payroll looking to take a step back from a full-time job, a stay at home parent looking for part-time accounting and payroll work to get out of the house and bring in some additional income, or even a lottery winner who isn't looking to get entirely out of the workforce quite yet, American Pest has an opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a part-time Payroll Administrator.

This role would be approximately 25 hours a week and the ideal candidate will have a schedule that will allow for flexibility as to when the bulk of those hours take place - concentrated around the end of pay periods.

What You'll Do...

As our part-time Payroll Admin, you'll the lead in processing payroll. You'll be charged with...

  • Processing and completing semi-monthly payroll for over 200 employees using ADP software
  • Routinely entering accurate payroll information into ADP
  • Reconciling payroll deductions with corresponding payables, looking for mistakes, and opportunities to increase accuracy
  • Compiling various reports in excel using payroll data
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are...

So, what type of person will be successful in this role? For starters, you'll enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You'll also have...

  • 2 years' ADP payroll experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • A two-year or four-year accounting degree from an accredited university (preferred)
  • A high attention to detail and sense of urgency in your work
  • A strong ability to reconcile account balances
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • A professional demeanor and presentation
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and full background check
