What You'll Do... As a Marketing Manager with American Pest, you will lead the way in developing, managing, and auditing our marketing campaigns across our team, projects, and vendors. You'll work alongside our Director of Marketing in managing the marketing budget, conducting research, tracking/analyzing campaign results, developing team members, and brand awareness across our service area. You will also oversee a small team of marketing specialists who have various duties ranging lead generation, commercial focused campaigns, and residential focused campaigns. Along with all this, you'll work closely with the Director of Marketing and collaborate with sales, communications, internal consultants, customers, and external vendors to reach desired results and achieve American Pests goals for continuous growth.

Who You Are... So, what does it take to be successful as the Marketing Manager at American Pest? For starters, you'll be meticulous and passionate about furthering American Pest's positive brand image. You'll also have...

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing – Required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a higher level Coordinator, Manager, or similar role - Preferred
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications – Required
  • A high proficiency in project management - Required
  • Experience with HTML coding - Required
  • Experience with editing/updating websites (Umbraco, Wordpress, Branch CMS, etc.) – Required
  • Experience with SEO - Required
  • Experience creating Pardot automation – Preferred
  • Experience creating and maintaining a budget – Preferred
  • A high proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; experience with pivot tables to conduct analysis of data sets from multiple data sources a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Indesign
  • Experience building complex marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Experience analyzing campaign data and reporting on results
  • Competence as a creative writer
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
  • The ability to travel as necessary
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize competing responsibilities according to urgency and importance
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
