Client Service Specialist

Our inside sales representatives assist potential clients with making decisions on how to choose the best pest control program to suit their family's needs. Candidates best fit for this role understand that our customers are our top priority. Friendly consultation and helping to create a seamless buying experience from the initial inquiry to scheduling and setting up the service, are both functions of this entry level opportunity. 

This position is located in our corporate office, which is housed in a new 10,000 square foot facility near Columbia, Maryland'an environment that is open and airy, allowing team members from all departments to interact with each other in informal ways throughout the day. Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and qualify inbound sales opportunities via phone, email, and other digital/traditional marketing campaigns (90% of your time)
• Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound/outbound lead follow-up and nurturing (10% time)
• Consistently log inbound sales opportunities into sales pipeline
• Close sales opportunities
• Complete sales agreements and initial welcome emails to new customers
• Schedule pest control services and in-home inspections
• Other duties as assigned

Skills necessary for this position:

• Solid interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, teammates, supervisors and other departments in an effort to serve client needs
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Ability to learn new software pursuant to the pest control industry and function at a high level for account setup and scheduling
• Ability to learn and retain a high level of pest control industry knowledge through supplied online (LMS), field, and classroom training
• Must be able to perform at a high level daily while multi-tasking and especially during periods of peak volume
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus
• Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM would be a plus
