What You'll Do... As the Receptionist for American Pest you will attend to the day-to-day running of the office and ensure everything is going smoothly. You'll manage supply levels and place orders as needed, coordinate events and meetings, tend to mail and shipping, track employees' birthdays and anniversaries, greet and assist visitors to the office, and handle general employee communication. In this role, you'll also handle data entry across several programs to maintain apps and information, scan incoming checks, add new hires/remove termed employees from calendars, manage program participation, and organize Leadership Team OKRs.


Who You Are... So, what does it take to be successful as the Receptionist at American Pest? For starters, you'll have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, think on your feet, manage your time, and prioritize multiple tasks. You'll also have...

  • One or more years of administrative/office experience preferred
  • Experience in ordering supplies and catering, budgeting, running errands for executives, and document scanning preferred
  • Experience using MS Windows/Office and cloud-based software
  • Experience with creating meetings/scheduling in Outlook
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
  • The willingness to take initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail or organization with a desire to get things right
  • Experience setting up computers and audio/visual equipment
  • Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to be a positive, up-beat, team-player
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
